SYSTEM ANALYST.
Loc: Philadelphia
Duration : 6 months.

The Analyst will be on the design team that defines functional architecture for an internal system.

The development and QA teams create the designs and the Analyst will work closely with these groups.

Job responsibilities:

Prepare specifications for system design.

Act as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.

Work with user groups to resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend solutions.

Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have experience defining UI solutions and creating functional designs on which technical development and quality assurance testing are based.

The candidate must be able to provide examples of their work moving a business requirement document to a completed functional systems design.

Proficiency in HP Quality Center requirements management suite plus Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point.

Knowledge of industry SDLC policies and practices is desirable.

This is a Functional Developer or a Senior/Lead Systems Analyst type role.

Candidate MUST provide work samples. The samples should show how have moved a business requirement document to a completed functional systems design..
